Your dev box

A QuickSilver Machine is a private Linux dev box with a desktop and terminal in your browser. Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Hermes are preinstalled and connected to QuickSilver Pro models. Chromium and Docker are included.

A Standard machine has 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and a 20 GB home disk. Machines run in Santa Clara, California, with a US IP. Use the dashboard or let your agent manage a box with the qsp CLI.

Pricing and free trial

$0.02 per running hour, billed per minute. Paused machines are free. Machine runtime and AI usage at normal model prices are charged from one QuickSilver balance.

Free trial, no card: new accounts get $0.05 signup credit, shared between runtime and AI usage. That is about 2.5 running hours before AI usage. After the trial, add $5 by card to keep working.

Limits and retention

  • Trial accounts: 1 machine. Paid accounts: up to 2 machines, both able to run at the same time.
  • Each continuous session stops after 8 hours. Each account has a 200 running hours/month cap.
  • Trial machines are deleted 24 hours after last use; paid machines 30 days after last use. Paid owners receive email warnings 7 days and 1 day before deletion.
  • Deletion is permanent. Operational recovery copies are purged within 7 days and are not available for restore on request.

Machines are in beta, with no backup or durability guarantee. Keep important work elsewhere. Pausing preserves files subject to retention; it does not keep a machine indefinitely. See the Machines FAQ and terms.
